Day 10, Monday, November 14, 2016, 05 ° 53 N, 24 ° 35 W.

Tonight the astronomer Pedro Sarmiento of Gamboa would have enjoyed contemplating the moon aboard this vessel. Tonight, the moon is closest to planet Earth, this event will not be repeated until the year 2034.

My eldest daughter Zoraida, who lives in Ourense, remembers that being little girl we also saw together the same supermoon. It was on a beach in Combarro: “Back then it did not make the news, but it was a supermoon. I remember it perfectly”- she says-. I was the same day that we threw a bottle with a message inside into the sea”.

On the tenth day of this trip, contemplating the supermoon on board the vessel Gamboa,  I think: “Nothing tougher than a bad childhood memory. Nothing more beautiful that a good childhood memory”.

During this trip, through this blog, through social networks, through the ionospheric waves, and through the telepathy that unite us all as human beings, I only want to throw into the sea bottles with good memories.
