Day 12, Wednesday, November 16th, 2016, 02 ° 49 S, 27 ° 55 W.

Yesterday, in the evening, we had an unexpected visit on board.

The Sarmiento de Gamboa’s PA system announced the arrival of Neptune, the God of the seas, for a routine inspection on board.

The problem was that he found five newbies that sailed in his domains without the mandatory documentation, so the captain ordered that were christened immediately, according to the sea regulations.

After the painful affair concluded, Neptune complained of the wi-fi dropping and he returned to his  own mansion under the sea.

You will have more details in my next feature. Today I bring you this daily appetizer: the photo of a crew member at the end of the ceremony.

Everything else is going fine, the trip is going well, the sea is calm , the company is good, the  temperature is pleasant, and there is a wonderful atmosphere on board. We now have five stowaways on board: five white herons, with feet of wire, which have installed themselves on deck by the containers and entertain us with their aerobatic flights. We call them The Garza patrol.
